Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality
of work, on time and under their projected budget to obtain repeat business with all of our clients. We will set, measure
and achieve our goals by utilizing well-trained and motivated employees, state of the art equipment and apply the latest technology.

Owner-Fred Richards graduated in 1984 from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in engineering. Fred worked as a superintendent for B.L. Harbert prior to taking over the family business in 1998. Fred believes in hands on management and tries to visit each job site daily.

General Manager- Nelson Hutcheson graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1965 with a degree in business administration. Nelson spent 14 years as a superintendent at us steel, 12 years as VP and general manager of Guzzler Manufacturing and has the VP and general manager at Richards and Sons for the past 16 years.

Senior Estimator- Eddie Simmons has 17 years in the site work business as an operator, site superintendent and estimator. In 2005 he graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham with a degree in Civil engineering. Eddie has been part of our estimating department since 2003.

Office Manager- Charlotte Kelley spent 2 years at Bessemer Tech in the business ciriculum and has 30 years of office management and accounting experience.Charlotte works closely with all departments at Richards And Sons.

Project Manager- Gregg Cary is the newest member of the Richards And Sons family joining in 2007. Gregg handles project management and all contract issues.

General Superintendant- Wayne Cole has over 40 years experience in the site work construction industry. Wayne handles the day to day management and staffing of all sites

Administrative Assistant- Lynn Pappas started her career as a teaching assistant then moved on to help manage a family business. Lynn joined the Richards And Sons family in 2003
